I hold a degree in Genetics and am passionate about microbiology, education, and bioinformatics. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Unicamp, where I work with industrial microbiology, focusing on population dynamics in ethanol production. Furthermore, I am interested in science as a human endeavor, professional ethics, and personal development. In my free time, I enjoy picnics, cooking, and practicing yoga. I also volunteer as part of the management team for PyLadies Bioinformatics, where I work to help increase gender diversity in the field
