I hold a PhD in Bioinformatics from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) and have worked in structural and protein bioinformatics since 2010. In 2022, I moved to the UK to join EMBL-EBI, where I work at the Protein Data Bank in Europe (PDBe) group.

Starting as a Bioinformatician, I focused on structural protein domain annotations, collaborating with resources such as CATH and SCOP. I later progressed to a Senior Bioinformatician role, leading the redesign of the PDBe web pages and working closely with the AlphaFold Database (AFDB) team on multiple projects.

I am currently the Data Access and Delivery Lead at PDBe, overseeing people and project delivery across the PDBe and AFdb group, with a focus on scalable data access, platform sustainability, and user-centered designs.
